The Fun of Learning to Manage Plastic
This activity is not just about theory, you know! The students were invited to directly practice managing unused plastics into ecobricks. What are ecobricks? Ecobricks are plastic bottles densely filled with non-biological plastic waste. In this way, plastic that would normally just be litter can be turned into useful building materials.
Benefits of Ecobricks
In this activity, the students learned that ecobricks can be assembled into various objects such as tables, chairs, stages, and even buildings. Imagine, from plastic waste that usually only pollutes the environment, it can be turned into something useful and valuable. It’s really fun, isn’t it?
Let’s Start with Yourself!
The main message of this activity is the importance of managing plastic waste starting from ourselves, from home, and from school. With this small step, we can make a big contribution to protecting the environment. So, let’s start reorganizing your plastic into ecobricks! The event not only provided new knowledge for the students, but also inspired them to care more about the environment. Hopefully, activities like this can continue and more schools will be involved. Let’s take care of our earth with small steps that have a big impact!
